Lynden Yoga Collective, we offer both individual Yoga Therapy sessions as well as regular group Therapeutic Yoga classes. Private sessions provide personalized guidance by combining slow yoga poses, breathwork, and relaxation techniques to address specific concerns, while our weekly Therapeutic Yoga classes offer a supportive community and gentle practices for all bodies.

Join Marie Bailey in the Yin Studio every Tuesday and Thursday for our most gentle and accessible class offering. Therapeutic Yoga classes are designed for all bodies, regardless of injury or mobility, and use slow yoga poses with props and assists, gentle movement sequences, breathwork, and meditation to help you tap into your innate strength and facilitate healing and recovery.

What is Yoga Therapy & Yoga Body Psychology?

Life is energy that is in a continuous flow. Our interactions with life can create conditions where the flow of energy gets blocked and it interferes with living life in a harmonious way. It affects our bodies, thoughts, emotions, and ultimately how we see the world. Avoiding areas of tension in the body keeps the energy blocked and the tightness intact which ultimately exacerbates misalignments in the body and toxicity in the mind. 

Understanding that the body has the ability to heal itself when the conditions are optimal, Yoga Body Psychology is designed to free up blocked energy which releases emotional pain and self-defeating patterns for healing and transformation.

Yoga Body Psychology provides a total body stretch and energy opener using gentle assisted poses to help move into areas of stiffness, constriction, tightness, and pain that you normally avoid. These assisted poses are combined with breath and meditative facilitation enabling gentle and effective release of the trapped and densified energy.

Marie Bailey is a Yoga Therapist who moved to the Pacific Northwest in late 2021. Yoga has been a significant part of Marie’s life for 25 years during which she has been a trainer in the Integrative Amrit Method (I AM) of Yoga Therapy and I AM Yoga Nidra for the past 13 years. She has taught Yoga and led Yoga Therapy trainings throughout the US and internationally.
