Yoga Foundations is a 3-week guided introduction to yoga at Lynden Yoga Collective. No experience necessary. No pretzel poses. Just a thoughtful, body-first approach to learning what yoga actually is — and what it can do for the life you’re already living.
The honest truth
Most people don’t start yoga because they think they’re not “the yoga type.”
Too stiff. Too busy. Too skeptical. Too intimidated by a room full of people who already seem to know what they’re doing.
We get it. And we built this series for exactly that.
What this is
Three weeks to learn the essentials — on your terms.
Yoga Foundations is a small-group, 3-week series that teaches you how to breathe with intention, how to move with awareness, and how to build a practice that actually fits your body — not someone else’s. Each week builds on the last.
Week One
Ground
Breath, alignment basics, and learning to actually be in your body. We slow down before we build up.
Week Two
Move
Core postures, transitions, and the rhythm of a flow. You’ll start to feel what it means to move with attention rather than just effort.
Week Three
Practice
Putting it together. You’ll move through a full class with confidence, knowing what you’re doing — and more importantly, why.
Who it’s for
You don’t need a reason.
