Pilates in the Park
Eight Monday evenings. A patch of warm grass at Bender Fields. A rotating roster of LYC teachers guiding a strong, mindful mat Pilates class that asks nothing of you but to arrive — mat, breath, and whatever the day has been.
invitation From the teachers of LYC
Step onto the grass. Breathe with the breeze. Move with precision and ease alongside the people who happen to be there beside you. Whether you've been practicing Pilates for fifteen years or have never engaged a single transverse abdominis on purpose, this class is yours.
Each Monday for eight weeks a different LYC teacher will guide a sixty-minute mat Pilates class under open sky — building core strength, mobility, and the kind of grounded steadiness that carries you back into your week. All bodies, all experience levels, all are welcome. Always.
What to bring
A mat
A thicker mat or a folded blanket underneath helps for Pilates work on the back and hips. We have a few extras on hand if you forget.
Water
Evenings in Lynden run warm in July. A bottle for during, another for after.
Layers
Fitted clothing to move in, plus something soft for the cool-down. The breeze picks up around 7:45.
Whatever you can give
Classes are donation-based. Bring what feels right, or come and pay it forward another week. No one is turned away.
Eight Mondays
All sessions begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
Strengthen with us beneath the
summer sky.
Reservations open the practice and help us know who's coming. Walk-ins always welcome.
